Heaven's Gate Farm Animal Rescue Centre

DUE TO BUILDING WORKS AT OUR SOMERSET CENTRE, HEAVENS GATE FARM IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.  WE HOPE TO OPEN AGAIN ON THE 22ND AUGUST, BUT IF YOU INTEND TO VISIT THE CENTRE WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU RING FIRST - 01458 252656.

Heaven's Gate Farm is situated in West Henley, near Langport, Somerset. The centre cares for and re-homes animals who are unwanted or looking for a new home for other reasons. Set in some twenty-five acres of beautiful countryside, the centre makes a major contribution to the Trust's work of caring for and re-homing dogs, cats and other animals.

The centre is home to both domestic and farm animals and provides them with shelter and care for an indefinite period of time. The Trust places no time limits on an animal's stay and does not put healthy animals to sleep.

Over the next 5-7 years the Trust is planning a major programme of development and improvements at Heaven's Gate. We have recently built and brought into service an ecological waste water treatment facility, which cleans and re-cycles all the waste water from the site and puts it back into the water table on the Somerset Levels. A new cattery is being planned for building in 2007.
