Meet Shrigley!

Hello everyone, my name is Shrigley and I am a very handsome silver grey male Weimaraner and I'm 6 years of age.
Despite my age I really haven't seen much of the world yet so I am looking for a new family who are going to help me build my confidence so I can really start living life to the full!
I can be a bit worried by new people and places at first, so I'm looking for patient new owners who are around a lot of the time and will give me the chance to settle in at my own pace. Once I get to know you I can be very affectionate and playful....squeaky toys are my fav!
I haven't been used to going out on walks so everything is very new and exciting for me.....every day is like an adventure and I love using my nose to investigate! I can pull on the lead but I have already made great progress with my training, and I can get a bit worried by large noisy traffic but again I am getting used to all of this. The team here are working on my recall so for now I stay on a longline when having a run.
I'm not great with cats and I can be vocal when I see other dogs but since I have arrived at the centre I have started walking out my new doggy friends and my new owners will need to continue with my socialisation skills.
The team here think a home with older teenage children and adults would be best and ideally a lovely garden space for me to enjoy. I hope to hear from you very soon, love Shrigley x
