Meet Bomma!

Hi! My name is Bomma, and I am an 18-month old male Doberman that is looking for a new home. I am a giant puppy, but I still think that I am teeny tiny and I love to sit on laps!

I can be a bit worried sometimes and then I start to bark to make myself seem scary - I just need lots of reassurance and positive experiences to grow my confidence.

I am experienced in living with children aged 10-17, but I did have some unpleasant experiences with younger children in my old home, where they tormented me and made me quite worried of them. I will need to live with older, understanding children that can be kind to me. I could potentially live with another dog, as long as they were okay with living with a bouncy boy like me! I am used to being around cats as well, so I could live with one of them, but we should be introduced slowly and carefully to make sure that we get on well.

I am not used to being left on my own and when I am left I do get upset and I will howl. Due to this, I need there to be someone around all of the time that can help me learn how to cope with being alone using kind and gradual methods. I need training in other areas as well, such as keeping 4 paws on the floor and loose lead walking. As I am only a youngster lots of training is essential to make sure that I grow into a well-rounded adult, so I will need to attend training classes to give my family the support needed with my training.
