Meet Bertie!

Hello! My name is Bertie, and I am a 13-year-old lad that is hoping to find a new home. I came into the centre with my friend Simba after our human mum had passed away, but as we didn't always get on that well we are looking for separate homes.

I am a sweet boy that is quite reserved when I don't know someone, but the team think that I will be quite a cuddle bug when I have settled into my new home. At the moment I am staying in a foster home as the cattery is very stressful for me.

I can live with older children that are experienced around cats and would be able to understand that I want my own space. I don't want to live with any dogs as they are very scary! I am used to living with other cats so I could do this again in my new home, however I may not want to be best buds with them - we might just co-exist!

I will need outdoor access in my new home, and I am used to living near busy roads so I could do this in my new home. A cat flap would be a great way to give me that access, as then I could come and go as I pleased.
