Volunteers Week – Day 2: NAWT Bedfordshire say thanks!

As we approach the second day of Volunteers Week 2023, we are continuing to recognise all the hard work that our volunteers do. Without our volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do, so this is why we want to use this opportunity to raise a glass and show our gratitude.

Make sure to continue to keep an eye on our social channels, where we are talking all things volunteering every day this week and posting stories that some of our volunteers have very kindly shared with us.

Today, our centre in Bedfordshire has hosted a BBQ as a way of saying thank you. We felt saying the words just wasn’t enough, so we wanted to also show them how grateful we are. NAWT Bedfordshire has around 65 active volunteers, who have all been invited to come along and enjoy an afternoon in the sunshine celebrating all their hard work.

The volunteers also had the opportunity to have a sneak peek at the new kennels and catteries, after only seeing them from a distance. For those who do not know, our centre is currently having a rebuild as we work to improve our facilities, so our volunteers have been more important to us than ever. They have helped us continue to help animals, all whilst going through building works.

To all our volunteers at NAWT Bedfordshire, thank you for everything you have done for us, especially during these difficult times. Thank you to all our volunteers for that matter. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
